Diachronic Archaeological Museum of Tilos

The museum’s exhibition, organised mainly in a chronological order, presents Tilos’ history, ranging from prehistoric (4.000 B.C.) until more modern times (17th century). From the fossils of dwarf elephants and the first evidence of human habitation up to the wall-paintings of byzantine and post-byzantine temples and the modern relics, all exhibits offer the visitors the opportunity to come in contact with the island’s character in the course of time.
