Archaeological Collection of Afaia Aigina

The Archaeological Collection of Afaia is located on the west side of the homonymous archaeological site and includes finds from the Sanctuary of the local goddess Afaia. The architectural elements’ colouring and its state of preservation during the partial restoration of the older Temple (570-560 B.C.) is quite impressive, while architectural elements from the pediments of the newer Temple (500-490 B.C.) with plaster casts of the figures are also on display.
