Archaeological Collection of Elateia, Phtiotis

The Archaeological Collection of Elateia houses finds from the region known in Antiquity as northeastern Phocis. The most important city of the area was ancient Elateia, the largest of the Phocaean League. The collection exhibits cover a period from the Upper Paleolithic era until the Roman times organized in two rooms in a chronological and geographical arrangement. It includes architectural spolia, vessels, tools, and jewelry.
