Archaeological Museum of Asklepieion Epidaurus

The Archaeological Museum of Epidaurus, one of the oldest museums of ancient Greek architecture, houses a large collection with many important finds discovered after many years of excavations in the Sanctuary of Asklepios (1881-1928). The excavations were conducted by the archaeologist Panagis Kavvadias and the Archaeological Society of Athens bringing to light finds that date back to the period spanning from the Archaic era until the Roman times.
