Archaeological Museum of Nemea

The Archaeological Museum of Nemea, located inside the archaeological site of the Sanctuary of Nemean Zeus, was built with the financial support of American citizens and was donated to the Greek state in 1984. The museum houses finds from the Early Helladic era until the Early Christian period that were found in excavations at ancient Nemea, Kleones, Fliountas, and the Mycenaean cemetery of Aidonia. The most significant finds are the pieces of gold jewelry dating back to the 15th century BC.
