Archaeological Museum of Filippoi

The Archaeological Museum of Filippoi, located in the archaeological site of Filippoi, is housed in a building designed by the architects Ioannis Triantafyllidis and Dimitrios Fatouros. The collection of the museum presents exhibits from the city of Filippoi, a city inseparably linked to historical personalities such as Filippos II, Octavian Augustus, and Apostle Paul. The collection covers a period spanning from the founding of the city in the 4th century BC until its decline in the 7th c. AD.
