Archaeological Museum of Veria

The Archaeological Museum of Veria, which has been open to the public since the 1960s presents antiquities from the city of Veria and the archaeological sites of Imathia region that date back to a period spanning from the Earliest Neolithic age until the Late Roman times. In July 2021, the permanent exhibition, titled "The Wall of Memory" and held at the Museum's courtyard, opened to the public. The exhibition includes selected artefacts (funerary stelae and honorary altars) of personalities from the city's ancient past, enabling Veria's modern residents to recall the memory of their former fellow citizens.
