Archaeological Collection of Atalanti, Phthiotis

The Archaeological Collection of Atalanti, a city that may be identified as ancient Opous, is housed in the Old High School of Atalanti, a building that has been declared a protected monument. Archaeological finds from excavations in the area of Eastern Lokris and the Northeast part of ancient Phocis are on display covering the period from the Neolithic era to the Roman times.
