Archaeological Museum of Thyrreion

The Archaeological Museum of Thyrreion was built in 1961-1962. In the rooms of the museum, visitors will find presented exhibits originating in their majority from the wider region of ancient Thyrreion, the erstwhile capital of the Acarnanian League. The exhibition consists of reliefs and sculptures, pottery, and various small objects. It is also remarkably rich in inscriptions.
