Epigraphic Museum

The Epigraphic Museum was founded in 1895. It is the only museum of this particular type in Greece and features the most extensive collection of ancient Greek inscriptions in the world. Their significance is invaluable as they serve as direct sources from Antiquity, shedding light upon the political, cultural, economic, religious, and social life of the ancient Greeks.
