Archaeological Museum of Symi

The Archaeological Museum of Symi, located in the neighborhood of Agios Athanasios in Chorio, extends over three levels, including two mansions of the 18th and the 19th century, the Farmakidis House, and the Chatziagapitos Hall with their courtyards and gardens. The multi-level exhibition takes the visitor on a visual journey spanning from the distant past to the island’s Modern history, as presented through objects from Prehistory until the 19th century.
