Palati Ioustiniani

The Palati Ioustiniani, situated near the Porta Maggiore and the fortification walls of the Castle of Chios, is believed to have been built by the Genoese rulers of the island at the beginning of the 16th century. It must have functioned as the headquarters of the Genoese Podesta. Today, the Palati Ioustiniani presents temporary exhibitions of antiquities from the collection of the Ephorate of Antiquities of Chios.
