The permanent exhibition of the Archaeological Museum of Nikopolis named ''A naval battle - A city- An Empire'' presents the history of Nikopolis, the city that was founded following the victory of Octavianus Augustus in the naval battle of Actium, which took place on 2 September 31 BC The city’s rich history of over one thousand years is presented through different aspects of the private and public life of its citizens.
